Michael Ocampo

Mike is the Director for Legal and Regulatory Affairs, as well as, the Corporate Secretary of Insights Grid. He is a Philippine-qualified lawyer with more than a decade of work in policy research and development, public affairs, legal practice (corporate, project finance, and government procurement) and project management. He combines his background in corporate legal practice and private sector projects with his long experience in civil society and government to come up with workable and innovative solutions for the government and private entities.

 

He has worked in judicial reform projects; government procurement; policy advocacy including the advocacies for sin tax reforms and freedom of information; and corporate practice and project finance. He has a strong interest in emerging areas of law in the Philippines, including competition law and intellectual property, technology laws, and other laws affecting innovation. 

 

He received his Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of the Philippines; and Master of Laws (Competition, Innovation and Trade Law) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He was admitted to the Philippine bar in 2012 .
